I decided to take the plunge and start blogging. I hope you guys can come here to be inspired!
Welcome to the Laneagh Heather Blog! I'm so excited and I just wanted to start off by saying thank you for being here! Starting a blog has been something I've wanted to do for quite some time now. I went back and forth on it, wondering if anyone would actually want to read what I had to say, but thankfully I have a few friends, and of course my boyfriend Kris, encouraging me to just do it if it was something I was passionate about. Sure enough, here we are. This blog is a way for me to inspire others, and I see it as an ongoing conversation where you can come here to find all things relating to home decor, DIY and lifestyle.

Being creative is something that has always been a hobby of mine. Whether this means styling a space (my favourite), putting together cute outfits, taking photoshoots of vignettes or helping a friend design a website - I love a challenge. Instagram has been a great way for me to showcase my projects so far, and hopefully this blog will offer more insight as to what goes on behind the scenes.
What's to come
This is only the beginning of hopefully an ever growing passion. Slowly, I will expand my knowledge on all things "blogging" and would eventually love to be able to provide you all with things like direct shopping links to requested products, DIY tutorials, online decorating services (LHS Decor), etc... My blog posts will aim to help everyone turn their house into a home they love - all on a budget. Finding killer deals is key in doing so, and I will share my best tips and tricks in order for you to get the best bang for your buck! Bear with me while I learn to find the easiest and most helpful ways to help you love your home.
